"The workshops presented at PAII Conferences have something for everyone – aspiring innkeepers, new innkeepers and seasoned innkeepers. The workshops in Anaheim will have clearly designated levels as well as an indicator for workshops especially suited to small inns.

Offered for the second year are Master Innkeeper level workshops. Look for Master Innkeeper workshops with new information for long-time innkeepers in every topic track."

The cost runs from $389 to $689 and price differences include early bird deals, member and non-member and onsite registration. Rooms at the Disneyland Hotel run at $149 a night for conference attendees.

Today my Inn was solicited by Bedhunt.com to put in a free Bronze Level Listing. In my experience every link back to your own Inn site helps just a tiny bit with your search engine rankings. In this case Bedhunt.com is a basic simple directory. It does not offer anything fancy, and is free to Innkeepers as the owner is running Google ads and the like to generate revenue (much the same as what I do with Innkeepers Journal).

If only one person books and stays with us thanks to our listing on this site, it would be a positive outcome for five minutes we spent adding our Inn to the site.

Potential Inn, East Olympia, Washington

I was lucky enough to personally inspect this beautiful newer Victorian inspired home. It would make a wonderful Inn, with the unique perspective of being horse friendly due to all of the local horse trails. the owner is open to negotiation and the property could be as large as 25 acres. They also remeasured and there is closer to 6000 Square feet of space.

Re-juv-inn-ate Innsitting

Michelle Rouse who is the Innsitter behind Rejuvinnate, has recently relaunched her web site. The new site gives Innkeepers a brief description of Michelle’s skills and experience along with some glowing testimonials. Rates are discussed but will vary depending on duties and tasks undertaken.

As most Innkeepers know it is hard to find someone who you can tust to run your Inn in your absence. Michelle gives Innkeepers in the Pacific Northwest another option within the limited pool of local talent.

A Love Project

A Love Project is something Marco and Lisa started based on their own experiences at Bed and Breakfasts. It is an extremely interesting idea, have people share their love stories and experiences and formulate them in to a feel good book.

Marco and Lisa are a wonderful professional couple who come and stay with you, leaving a small chest for people to put their own stories down on paper and lock them away. They have traveled extensively and placed these chests all over the country. You really should take a look at some of the Inns they have worked with on this project.

Interim Innkeepers Network

Every Innkeeper knows they need a break sometimes. The Interim Innkeepers Network is a group of Innsitters that have banded together and formed a professional group you can call upon in your time of need!

There mission is stated as, “Our mission is to maintain effective communication between hospitality properties, including bed and breakfasts, country inns, and boutique hotels, and our members for the purpose of providing Interim Innsitting and longer term Managing Innkeeping services. Our goal is to coordinate the education and training of Aspiring Innkeepers, Internship Programs and Apprenticeships as well as continued advanced educational opportunities to our membership.”

Although heavily centered on the East Coast they do have Innsitters on the West Coast as well.
